I live in a small apartment, but I still want to grow my own tomatoes. So, I built a mini grow tent.
I'm not a great gardener, but I'm good with electronics. So, I added an intelligent control system to handle most of the work. And since I had neighbors all around, it needed to be discreet.
After sharing it on social media, I realized others also love growing tomatoes. So, I made it ready for production. Now, The Grow Tent is available and it comes with everything needed to grow - just add seeds and soil!

Energy-Efficient Technology
We understand that electricity costs are a concern for many, which is why the tomato grow tent uses the latest technology to minimize power consumption.
Our efficient LED Grow Light is made with latest, most efficient Samsung chips (LM301 EVO). They produce a lot of light for the lectricity used (instead of heat).
The main fan internally uses a brushless DC motor that is more efficient than traditional AC fans, further reducing power usage.

The Grow Tent operates quietly, with the only sound coming from the fans. Thanks to the speed-controlled fans, they run as slowly as possible, while only ramping up to as fast as necessary to maintain optimal conditions—keeping noise to a minimum.
While the system might not be ideal for running next to your bed, the noise is not noticeable when the door to the room is closed. You can enjoy a peaceful environment while your plants grow in the background.

The Grow Tent includes an integrated LED grow light, powered by the latest Samsung LM301H EVO chips—a cutting-edge mix of 3000K and 6500K designed specifically for plant growth. These LEDs provide an optimal light spectrum, ensuring your plants thrive, and they run highly efficiently, producing plenty of light without wasting energy on heat.
The LED is fully dimmable, allowing you to adjust brightness based on your plants’ needs, especially during early growth stages when full brightness isn’t necessary. This feature not only helps extend the life of the LED but also saves on electricity.
Convenient Light Scheduling
The Control Centre allows you to easily set the light duration on/off cycles to suit your plants' growth stages. For example, young plants might need 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness, while flowering plants typically require 12 hours of light. This flexibility ensures your plants get the right light schedule for optimal growth.
The Grow Tent’s Control Centre manages a sunrise and sunset feature for the LED light, gently transitioning the light over 15 minutes. This gradual change helps reduce plant stress caused by sudden, unnatural light shifts, creating a more natural and plant-friendly environment.
Protect Your Eyes
LED grow lights are incredibly bright, and tending to your plants at full brightness every day can strain your eyes. That’s why I’ve added a dimmer button.. Simply push it, and the LED will dim to 20% brightness, making it safe to look at your plants.
Gentle Drying Mode for Best Quality
After harvesting, it’s important to dry your plants properly to preserve quality. The Grow Tent features a special drying mode, where the Control Centre regulates gentle airflow through your harvest, allowing it to dry slowly and evenly for optimal results.
The system also includes a drying net, ensuring your fresh harvest is well-dried from all sides for even better quality.
Support Every Step of the Way
If you’re unsure about how or when to harvest, don’t worry! Our online community provides helpful videos that guide you through the entire process.
Optional Wi-Fi Connectivity
The Grow Tent’s Control Centre can easily connect to your local Wi-Fi network, allowing you to check on your grow remotely while you're out and about. Simply scan a QR code to set it up—it's that simple!
However, connecting to Wi-Fi is completely optional. The system works perfectly fine without it, giving you full flexibility based on your preferences.
The Grow Tent features advanced climate control, with the system checking and adjusting conditions every 6 seconds to ensure an optimal environment for your plants. If the temperature or humidity rises, the fan automatically increases speed to bring it back to ideal levels. When the lights are off, the fan slows down, making the system quieter during the dark cycle.
With WiFi connected, TomatoTent continuously logs climate data over time, allowing you to monitor conditions and spot any hidden problems in your grow environment. You can view easy-to-read graphs directly on the Control Centre, so there’s no need to use your phone.
For those who want more advanced insights, additional graphs and data are available through the online app if the system is connected to Wi-Fi.
